We had an early start today leaving Ripon at 8:20am.  Mostly an uneventful trip back to Boroughbridge, but some difficulties with locks as we are too long.  In the first lock the back gates were leaking and that meant that we had loads of water washing over the back and into the back cabin.  Not too bad apart from a wet floor and some water under the decks, which Graham had to pump out when we stopped.

Poor Truly fell in and Graham has told everyone that I pushed her.  Completely untrue as I don't like wet dogs making a mess in the boat.

Due to the early start we moored up fairly early and got some jobs done and then time for a glass of wine before dinner.  Onwards to York tomorrow before heading to Naburn Lock and back onto the tidal Ouse to Selby.  Have to wait until Sunday or Monday to go through Naburn Lock and back to Selby though because of the spring tides.
